Annie Yeh is a certified yoga teacher (RYT with Yoga Alliance) and distinguished Bay Area professional cellist.

With over a decade of yoga practice in the Ashtanga and Hatha styles, Annie embarked on a transformative journey to delve deeper into her studies. She is the founder and creator of Legato Cello Yoga℠, a fusion born from her sankalpa (heart’s desire) to intertwine the healing practice of yoga with her musical artistry, recognizing that our body is our first instrument.

Drawing inspiration from non-living luminaries, Annie holds Indra Devi, the "Mother of Yoga," in high regard for her pioneering efforts in bringing yoga to China. Another source of inspiration is the late violinist Yehudi Menuhin, a student of Indra Devi and the conduit that introduced Indian master yoga teacher B.K.S. Iyengar to the West.

Annie's commitment to her craft is evident in her diverse teacher training, under the guidance of respected mentors and renowned teachers Richard Rosen, Annie Carpenter, Ann Dyer, Yoko Yoshikawa, Margi Young, Leslie Howard, Baxter Bell, and Jody Hahn. She is dedicated to a lifetime of practice and study, seeking to cultivate long-term health, strength, flexibility, and a peaceful existence. Annie's holistic approach to the union of yoga and music reflects her profound commitment to the well-being of both herself and those she guides on their journey.
